Language Development During the First Three Years
This course focused on language development from birth through age three years. It discusses the pre-requisites required for expressive language, as well as how language milestones relate to other areas of development (e.g. cognitive, gross motor). This course further targets strategies to implement in therapy to support and encourage language development.
Karli Goebel, MS, CCC-SLP. is a pediatric speech and language pathologist specializing in Early Childhood as well as Family Coaching. She graduate with her masters from Monmouth University and began her career in Early Intervention. She has been an EI provider for 6 years and in 2020 co-founded Milestones, a family owned multidisciplinary pediatric practice with Lauren Bryant PT, DPT. She is currently working towards her CLC.

3. Learner will demonstrate the ability to effectively educate and communicate the information in this course with families, parents and caregivers.
4. Learner will be able to apply the strategies and knowledge in therapy to support and encourage language development.
